Are the new Electromagnetic tools better then classical approaches to depression ?
They still broaden our therapeutic perspective and deserve to be considered in many cases.
Are they better then ECT ?
I put my money on rTMS but the new version by ANT with the Visor adaptation that incorporates neuronavigation and Robotmanipulation.

Are the new Electromagnetic tools better then classical approaches to depression ?

Also there is the relatively new deep transcranial magnetic stimulation. I did a blog post about it.

I also explored the possiblity of ultrasound to manipulate brain functioning for more accuracy.

I think the tools should definitely have some interesting effects for brain manipulation.
